Today is my mum's great day, it is her Birthday!!! Happy Birthday Mummy!!!
My mum was so happy when she knew that Yirong wanted to treat her lunch... The night before, my mum even said proudly in front of my brothers that Yirong, her god daughter is treating her so she asked my brothers not to treat her... Haha she actually admitted that yirong as her god daughter... poor me to have such a god sister...
After our church service, me and my mum went to the restaurant called Gyu-kaku Japanese BBQ at CHIJMES.

The meat seemed delicious, was busy eating, never got the chance to take picture. There was a promotion, one for one set, we ordered 2 pork and 2 chicken set meals for the 4 of us, got mui hwee, me, rong and my mum... One set consists of a drink with choice of orange or grapefruit juice or hot tea; raw vegetables salad; rice, a plate of raw meat to BBQ; hot miso soap and a dessert. Quite lots of stuff in a set meal which cost $17.50 each but thanks to the promotion we can enjoy it at a cheaper rate... After the meal went to shopping, due to the long weekend, most of the shopping malls had promotion and great sale... Yirong left after the meal and muihwee went shopping wiht me andmy mum... According to muihwee, it was her first time shopping in OG... Haha, think that OG is a place not for us younger generations one... but for me, it is not new, as i always accompany my mum and auntie to shopping... There were a lot of people in OG, due to the 20% sale, everything as long as it is the retail price, got a discount of 20%... so quite worthwhile... My colleague told me about this magic thermal pot, don't need electricity nor heating under stove, then can cook the food and maintain the food's temperature. My colleague said that just have to half cook for example curry chicken, then put inside this magic pot, it will help to cook fully as well as maintain the temperature of the food. So cool... and this magic pot only cost about $49 with OG card, and it is made in Japan. So, asked my mum to go up and see see but sad to say that it was sold out within 3 days only. Instead, we went to see people promoting pots and woks. Then, we even got free pop corns and cakes to eat, haha... they are really nice somemore free one...Our shopping results in me buying a pair of sandals and my mum buying her a pair of scholl sandals too. Don't understand why my mum insisted on buying similar black scholl sandals, haiz... anyway it is at discounted price, so worth buying...After that, when we got home, my brother went downstairs to takeaway food and the whole family sits down to enjoy our food. At least my mum won't have to cook on her birthday...This year, we didn't really celebrate with a cake, thanks to my brother for not buying the cake whom he surposed to. haiz... I remembered buying my mum's first birthday during my secondary school days... 
This winnie the pooh heart shaped bottle was my mother's gift. From the picture, can see that it was only 3/4 filled with stars... That was because I took out some for other purposes... oops...
From then, the gifts of my mum's birthday can ranged from ornaments to CDs. I prefered to buy ornaments for my mum as it can be a keepsake and for memory...
This crystal ornament was qutie bian zhi, inside got a dragon. My mum was born in the year of dragon, so I normally buy gifts related to that.
This is my favourite piece of ornament which depicts 2 loving swans, very sweet and loving...
This year I bought this dragon ornament which I think that it was quite a unique piece... The dragon was gold plated as well as decorated with crystals...

Yesterday was Maryam's 20 Birthday!!! Happy Belated Birthday, Maryam!!! However, we only managed to meet her today for a dinner as well as to pass her the present. As her actual day was spent with Hidayat and guessed that she had an enjoyable time with him... We were supposed to meet at 7pm, then i thought that I would be late, but I was quite punctual, reached on the dot and Maryam came earlier than me. This time, the usually punctual Jaclyn was late, so unexpected, Jaclyn seldom came late for meetings so we sabotaged her to treat us dinner... Is causeway point too far for her? haha poor Jaclyn... She is so nice to agreed to that, thanks jaclyn, and we went to Swensens for dinner.I had fish and chips, Jaclyn ordered chicken cutlet and prawn fritters; Maryam ordered a spagetti. We all were too hungry and we gobbled the food down after they were served. Only managed to take pictures of our dessert which is Apple crumble hot plate:

After dinner, we went to find some place to celebrate Maryam's Birthday. We sat below the MRT tracks, found a secluded corner beside the escalator leading down to the bus interchange. We lit up the candles for Maryam and sang a birthday song for her... Enjoyed those pictures below:
Maryam's cakes, 2 slices of coffee cakes and 1 slice of chocolate cake... Yum Yum!!!
Meanwhile, we insisted that she took out the tip of the candles using her mouth from the cake... haha, look how bad we are, to come up with that trick...

Finally, the 5 of us managed to find a date to meet for Wen Jun's Birthday. An early 20th birthday for Wen Jun!!! Happy 20th Birthday Wenjun!!! Normally, the outing was organised by Shiyin, thanks gal for always taking the initiative to organise but this time, I would like to try to organise, don't wish to trouble Shiyin... Haha, met at Bukit Panjang Plaza for a dinner and celebration. Me and Shiyin were early as we met after work, so cool haha, quite a lot to catch up with yin, same primary school, same secondary and now same polytechnic, this cannot be coincidence, I think that it is becos of the bond between me and yin... Haha... fated to be together... We have been thru a lot of happy and sad times, and she is always there for me, really glad to have such a great pal. Wenjun came around 8 plus after her tuition. We settled for a meal at the food junction as all of us were quite tight. Me ate Tom Yam ban mian and Jun took mee hoon guey and Yin had Yong Tau Foo. haha... Supposed to be a surprise celebration with Jieying buying the cake since she would be the last to reach, but it was all exposed by Jun, so clever of her when she overheard Shiyin's conversation with Jieying. haha... When Shiyin was about to do secret cake transaction with yirong under the table, Jun almost saw that but Shiyin reacted fast by standing up and ran away with the cake. She settled in front of the stalls poking the candles and asking around the stallholders to see if they can lend her a lighter or what. Eventually, she managed to light up the cake, and walked back towards the table with eyes staring at her, quite pai seh, but worthwhile for the sake for Jun.

Today is our CE's gathering at Sentosa. Thanks to Daniel for organising this chalet to allow all CE's people to gather before we all pursue our directions either in unis or armies or working society... Haiz... Time really flies and these 3 years in poly just passed. I still remember the first day i stepped into poly with Eunice, the only sec fren, and thru her knew a lot of her class gals. Really happy that me and Eunice got closer and she got herself a sweet Bf. I remembered the first lesson in poly was organic chemisty inside LT 51, then Mr Mirko has to mark attendance using the photo on the attendance sheet. Then he went around with the sheet of paper comparing faces and seeing who is who... Quite funny... Moreover, I still remember Mr Chong first ICBE's tutorial when he asked us to self introduce and I said that " Hi everyone, I am Cindi spelled with an 'i' behind. " I really disliked people to spell wrongly my name but that can't helps as most people have the mind set that Cindi is spelled with a 'y' and not 'i'. Just a gentle warning, my close frens dun spell wrongly my name otherwise you shall get it from me... After that, Mr Chong is successful in bringing our class closer, we began to mingle although our class is more guys than gals, with a ratio of 13:4, the number of gals are quite pathatic. But we still survived... haha...Let's change the topic to today's outing... I let house around 2 plus almost to 3 in the afternoon after watching campus superstar... However, cannot watch finish only watched abt half of it then got to go Sentosa, otherwise will get killed by someone... Was shocked when I saw the queue for the Sentosa Bus, I cannot imagine going to Sentosa on a weekend, can be so terrible. the queue was super long that I only got onto the bus on the third bus, can you imagine how long the queue was? Went to Palawan beach to find YY they all, I went to Sentosa last year end, cannot imagine that it actually changed quite a bit when I returned. When I returned to Sentosa, it seemed totally new and quite a lot fo facilities are seen already and the train station that linked habour front to sentosa was very big and pretty. When i reached Sentosa, they were playing volley ball at the beach then i chio them to go and played "Luge" which is a new ride in Sentosa.I guessed we really enjoyed that, the photos below can be the evidence:It is me and YY on the chairlift.

Me and JaclynEnough of the luge rides, we had 3 of the rides consecutively, had quite a lot of fun and it is really shiok ah... After that, we think that it is still early, we went to take the beach tram, it changed from beach train to tram, quite cooling sia. I remembered that during my Primary 6 outing we went to Sentosa for our class outing, every other class either went to Science Centre or Discovery Centre, so other classmates quite envied us. However, don't need to envy as we only went to sit the beach train for one whole round, seened all the 3 beaches and that is it, nothing much either, as that time only beach train is free and the rest of the attractions at Sentosa need $$$. We wanted to cycle however, when we wanted ot do so, the bicycle shop closed already, that time was still early 6 plus only reaching 7pm, how come they close so early, quite wasted but never mind we went to the beach to pick seashells...Me and YY picking Seashells:

Haha... Today, it's great opportunity to go out and have fun with my "pu siao" friend, wans... The reason for calling her that was once she started her laughter, it is quite difficult to stop it le. (I don't think you will believe it until you experience it yourself). Therefore, need me to tell her to " keep quiet" then she will stop her laughter. I guess this is how we click, one is crazy and another is more composed so as to balance it out. haha... friendship is an unique and special relationship ah.
We met at causeway point and settled for a burger king. Luckily, found out that the coupon expired the next day, on the 8 April 06, so we ate our cheap and economical meal. It is the first time that we tried the turkey bacon burger, which was highly recommended by my colleague, overall is quite nice plus my onion rings adds up to a sumptous meal.
After that, we jus went for window shopping and much more chatting. Moreover, we also took pictures:
