Today is my mum's great day, it is her Birthday!!! Happy Birthday Mummy!!!

My mum was so happy when she knew that Yirong wanted to treat her lunch... The night before, my mum even said proudly in front of my brothers that Yirong, her god daughter is treating her so she asked my brothers not to treat her... Haha she actually admitted that yirong as her god daughter... poor me to have such a god sister...

After our church service, me and my mum went to the restaurant called Gyu-kaku Japanese BBQ at CHIJMES.

The meat seemed delicious, was busy eating, never got the chance to take picture. There was a promotion, one for one set, we ordered 2 pork and 2 chicken set meals for the 4 of us, got mui hwee, me, rong and my mum... One set consists of a drink with choice of orange or grapefruit juice or hot tea; raw vegetables salad; rice, a plate of raw meat to BBQ; hot miso soap and a dessert. Quite lots of stuff in a set meal which cost $17.50 each but thanks to the promotion we can enjoy it at a cheaper rate...

After the meal went to shopping, due to the long weekend, most of the shopping malls had promotion and great sale... Yirong left after the meal and muihwee went shopping wiht me andmy mum... According to muihwee, it was her first time shopping in OG... Haha, think that OG is a place not for us younger generations one... but for me, it is not new, as i always accompany my mum and auntie to shopping... There were a lot of people in OG, due to the 20% sale, everything as long as it is the retail price, got a discount of 20%... so quite worthwhile...

My colleague told me about this magic thermal pot, don't need electricity nor heating under stove, then can cook the food and maintain the food's temperature. My colleague said that just have to half cook for example curry chicken, then put inside this magic pot, it will help to cook fully as well as maintain the temperature of the food. So cool... and this magic pot only cost about $49 with OG card, and it is made in Japan. So, asked my mum to go up and see see but sad to say that it was sold out within 3 days only. Instead, we went to see people promoting pots and woks. Then, we even got free pop corns and cakes to eat, haha... they are really nice somemore free one...

Our shopping results in me buying a pair of sandals and my mum buying her a pair of scholl sandals too. Don't understand why my mum insisted on buying similar black scholl sandals, haiz... anyway it is at discounted price, so worth buying...

After that, when we got home, my brother went downstairs to takeaway food and the whole family sits down to enjoy our food. At least my mum won't have to cook on her birthday...

This year, we didn't really celebrate with a cake, thanks to my brother for not buying the cake whom he surposed to. haiz...

I remembered buying my mum's first birthday during my secondary school days...

This winnie the pooh heart shaped bottle was my mother's gift. From the picture, can see that it was only 3/4 filled with stars... That was because I took out some for other purposes... oops...

From then, the gifts of my mum's birthday can ranged from ornaments to CDs. I prefered to buy ornaments for my mum as it can be a keepsake and for memory...

This crystal ornament was qutie bian zhi, inside got a dragon. My mum was born in the year of dragon, so I normally buy gifts related to that.

This is my favourite piece of ornament which depicts 2 loving swans, very sweet and loving...

This year I bought this dragon ornament which I think that it was quite a unique piece... The dragon was gold plated as well as decorated with crystals...
