Yesterday was out with Hwee Teng... I remembered the last time I went out with her was when I just finished with my school stuff and still haven't find my job. However, guess what I really worked as an admin staff for almost 2 months. So time really flies...

We were quite early for dinner time, so we went around to see where should we have our dinner. We walked from orchard MRT to Taka... Deciding between to go either Mache or Ichiban Boshi... Guess what when we go to Mache at Heeren, then found out that it was closed for renovation. So sadly, we went to Ichiban boshi. When we reached there, the waitress asked us if we mind taking the 2 seats near the entrance of the restaurant but we insisted on waiting for the counter seats. So, we waited for almost half an hour before getting to the desired seats that we wanted.

Inside the restaurant, we were browsing through the menu, deciding on what we wanted to order. In the end, we decided on ordering all the side dishes instead of having their main courses. Reason being got more varieties if we ordered their Ala carte, about $1.90 each plate...

Our starters:

First dish on the top right hand corner, it was the egg wrapped sushi. Beside it, was the peas. Remember for this peas, cannot eat the skin but eat the seeds inside it, first time tried this, quite crunchy and tasty... Then from the bottom right hand corner, it was chicken floss wrapped sushi. I particularly loved this as it was very unique, never tasted a sushi wrapped by chicken floss, really ICHIBAN! Beside this, was another of my favourite, it was LOBSTER toppings on top of fried yam pieces, what a weird combination but indeed it was very Shiok wor:)

Next dish was our main course, it was fried soft shell crab. I shall let the picture tells you how delicious it is:

After a feastful meal, we had our lovely cheese cake for our dessert, really cheesy as I expected. Meanwhile, enough pictures of food, it is our turn now:

After our meal, went around town area, talked and window shopped, before we sadly headed for home. Let's anticipate for our next outing:)
